New Business Development Manager

Charlotte based US Subsidiary of a German Based manufacturing Company in the field of temperature and air controls seek s results-driven new business development leader to join their current sales team to develop current accounts and bring in new clients to the company .

This is a Direct Hire position in South Charlotte with a salary of $ 82 ,000 - $ 95 ,000 plus rich bonus program and good benefits with 100% of employee paid and 50% of family benefits paid, plus car allowance
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales plans in the field of temperature control technology to drive revenue growth in the US market.
  • Identify, engage, and build relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value sales deals.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses for senior management.
  • Conducting competitive and market analyses to derive strategic recommendations
  • Establishing, maintaining and developing long-term customer relationships
  • Identifying potential new customers and approaching them in collaboration with sales management
  • Development and presentation of standardized or customized solutions for customer requirements
  • Demonstration and presentation of the technology to interested parties, clarification of technical requirements
  • Preparation of quotations and independent negotiation of contracts
  • Close collaboration with Office-Team the US the same as with the Headquarters in Germany such as Internal Sales; finance, engineering; design, production and service
  • Managing the handover of projects to operational processing
  • Participation in trade fairs, congresses and other industry events to expand the network and strengthen the company's market presence
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses for senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in technical studies (e.g. mechanical engineering or industrial engineering) or a comparable qualification
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience, business development or in a comparable position, ideally in specialized electrical or mechanical background.
  • Enjoy exploring new technologies and markets coupled with a creative and flexible way of working
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Drive annual sales results and long-term Operational Solutions deliver signed purchase
  • contracts to achieve annual sales quota
  • Technical understanding and the ability to communicate complex issues in an understandable way
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as intercultural competence
  • Independent, conscientious, authentic and structured way of working
  • Willingness to travel as required.
