Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 07:00-17:30, 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week with occasional late stay
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required
License: RN license required
Certifications: ACLS/BLS required
Must-Have:
- Experience in EP lab
Job Description:
- Work in a specialized Cardiac Cath Lab focusing on electrophysiology procedures.
- Provide high-quality patient care with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
- Operate and manage equipment such as X-ray, PACS, Cardio Lab, istat, ESI, Carto, Arrythmia, and Cryo.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient records.
- Assist in typical procedures including ablations, device implants, Watchman procedures, and loop recorder insertions.
- Maintain flexibility, efficiency, and attention to detail in a dynamic work environment.
- Participate in on-call rotations 2 days every 6 weeks, covering weekends from 7am to 11am.
- Adhere to dress code: Surgical Green scrubs.
- Collaborate with a team of 17 staff members to ensure smooth unit operations.
