As a Senior Field Solution Architect specializing in High Performance Computing, you will have the power, training opportunities, and expertise to delve deeper into the HPC stack. What you'll do:
  • Lead HPC Architecture & Strategy - Design and implement scalable, high-performance computing solutions aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Conduct Architectural Discussions - Engage in in-depth discussions to translate business outcomes into technical solutions, ensuring successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with Sales - Design and propose tailored solutions using the best mix of vendor-partner products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Manage Technical Sales Process - Oversee all technical aspects of the sales cycle, including solution validation, proposal development, and technical due diligence.
  • Deliver Customer Presentations - Develop and present compelling solution narratives to prospective and existing customers, articulating business and technical value.
  • Drive HPC Infrastructure Design - Focus on robust, scalable, and efficient on-premises HPC solutions, with cloud and hybrid environments as secondary considerations.
  • Monitor and Share Industry Trends - Stay informed on emerging technologies, maintain vendor/OEM relationships, and provide strategic insights to customers and internal teams.
  • Customer Advisory & Consulting - Act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers on HPC best practices, performance optimization, workload placement, and cost efficiency.
  • Benchmarking & Performance Analysis - Evaluate and optimize HPC workloads to ensure maximum efficiency and scalability.
  • Technical Enablement & Training - Educate sales teams and customers on HPC architectures, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Collaboration with Engineering Teams - Work with product and engineering teams to influence solution roadmaps and address customer challenges.
  • Solution Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) - Lead PoC engagements to validate solution performance and demonstrate capabilities.
  • Security & Compliance Oversight - Ensure HPC solutions align with industry security, compliance, and regulatory standards.
  • Automation & Workflow Optimization - Assist customers in automating HPC workflows and integrating with broader IT ecosystems.
  • Guide Proposal Development - Oversee the creation of Proposals, Statements of Work, and Bills of Material, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Consult on Professional Services Delivery - Provide technical guidance and expertise during project delivery, ensuring solutions align with customer expectations, though not directly responsible for implementation.


What you need to succeed:

Must-have:
  • Deep Technical Expertise in HPC - Strong understanding of HPC architecture, including compute, storage, networking, and workload orchestration.
  • Solution Design & Architecture Skills - Ability to translate business outcomes into scalable, high-performance technical solutions.
  • Pre-Sales & Sales Engineering Experience - Experience supporting sales teams, engaging with customers, and guiding technical aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Industry Knowledge & Trends Awareness - Strong grasp of emerging technologies in HPC, AI/ML workloads, and hybrid cloud strategies.
  • Effective Communication & Presentation Skills - Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Customer-Facing & Consulting Experience - Ability to act as a trusted advisor, helping customers optimize their HPC environments.
  • Vendor & Partner Collaboration - Experience working with OEMs, ISVs, and technology partners to design and deliver solutions.
  • Problem-Solving & Performance Optimization - Ability to analyze and improve HPC workloads for efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Proposal & Documentation Skills - Experience leading the development of Proposals, Statements of Work, and technical documentation.
  • Security & Compliance Knowledge - Familiarity with industry regulations and security best practices for HPC environments.
  • Project Oversight & Delivery Consultation - Understanding of professional services delivery, ensuring solutions are successfully implemented.


Nice-to-have:
  • Experience with Cloud-Based HPC - Familiarity with cloud HPC solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud strategies.
  • AI/ML & Data Analytics Knowledge - Understanding of AI/ML workloads and their integration into HPC environments.
  • Automation & DevOps Skills - Knowledge of infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and workflow optimization.


Pay range: $120,000 - $190,000 depending on experience and skill set

Annual bonus target of $40,000 subject to terms and conditions of plan
