Responsibilities:
- Provide top-quality dental hygiene care, including cleanings, scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive dental care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including periodontal screenings, charting, and X-rays.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
- Work closely with dentists and the dental team to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Create a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient.
- Adhere to strict infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Stay up to date with industry advancements and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Valid Illinois Dental Hygiene license.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a dental hygienist.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A team player with a solutions-focused mindset.
- Passionate about patient education and preventive dental care.

Qualifications:
- Current dental hygienist license
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
- Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
