Job Summary
This position is located at Robins AFB, GA, and supports the USAF Electronic Warfare & Avionics Systems Program Office, Robins AFB, GA. This position is for an Electronic Warfare Engineering Analyst providing support to the ALQ-161A Integrated Product Team. The ALQ-161A is the Defensive Avionics System (DAS) for the B-1B Bomber. This position will perform data analysis to support Prototype Testing efforts, sustainment of associated LRUs for Defensive Avionics systems, facilitate DMS resolutions, and provide support with Airworthiness documentation. This is a 100% direct labor position that will require intermittent travel within the Continental US.
Essential Job Functions
v Participate in completing airworthiness documentation, support planning for engineering events and or studies to ensure the necessary, relevant data is collected to assess and enhance the ALQ-161A's capability
v Analyze data to determine relevant trends and provide actionable information for development of effective EW techniques.
v Serve as EW subject matter expertise for B-1B Integrated Product Team; brief team and larger B-1B community on EW system capabilities and employment.
v Participate in programmatic and technical reviews; assess risks to program success and recommend courses of action to the IPT lead based on risks and mitigation strategies
v Develop, assess, and recommend strategies for supporting and sustaining updated and modified ALQ-161A system components, both hardware and software
Qualifications
v Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
v Fifteen (15) years' experience in electronic warfare.
v Familiarity with structure and execution of DoD acquisition programs
v DAWIA Level 1 in Acquisition Management and Level 1 in Systems Engineering or Test and Evaluation; Level 2 highly desired
v Strong Organizational and Project Management skills.
v Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) required, MS Project desired.
v Must have current Secret security clearance.
