Two-year degree in nursing required; four-year degree in nursing preferred
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
Job Description:
The Nursing Home Registered Nurse position assists with daily nursing activities and requires a passion for providing exceptional healthcare. Duties include:
- Timely communication to physicians, families, etc., regarding significant changes in resident condition
- Completing all applicable resident assessments
- Administering medication while following the 5 Rights
- Performing wound care and assessments as necessary
- Assisting CNAs with answering call lights
- Monitoring residents for changes in condition
- Acting as a leader by assessing and directing situations as required
- Reporting any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation
- Maintaining accurate resident records with thorough and accurate charting
- Performing other duties as requested
Holiday coverage is required for this position.
