We are searching for a Senior Systems Analyst -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will facilitate complex, cross-departmental strategic projects adhering to an established project management methodology and utilizing a variety of performance improvement strategies (e.g. Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FEMA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Six Sigma lean, Balanced Scorecard, etc.). This involves understanding, analyzing, documenting, and providing solutions for assigned business problems as well as facilitating and overseeing the hand-off to Development to ensure solutions are implemented appropriately. Project follow-up over time will be required to assess project success.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Functions as a Project Facilitator. Meets with all stakeholders and other project sponsors, as appropriate, to understand the issues underlying the current or potential initiative - and the type(s) of assessments needed.
  • Develops plan for completing required assessment, including project organization, data requirements, involved parties, resource requirements and timeline. Presents plan to project sponsors, modifies as necessary and obtains approval.
  • Facilitates meetings and conducts interviews with appropriate parties and communicates any issues or concerns to the Project Team and/or Manager/Director. Ensures all materials necessary for successful group facilitation are prepared in advance of meetings.
  • Manages the completion of projects/assessments. Monitors progress against plan and budget. When necessary, adjusts plan with approval from the Manager/Director and project sponsors.
  • Plans and executes smooth transition of process changes to department/unit leadership at completion of project.
  • Establishes and maintains project implementation plans and project status reports.
  • Performs and manages assessments for current or potential initiatives
  • Provides expertise in the definition and interpretation of business data required for distribution to both internal and external clients.

Skills & Requirements
  • Required H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in business or health related field
  • 8 years healthcare related project management, system design and/or implementation experience
  • A bachelor's degree will substitute for 4 years of experience; a master's degree will substitute for 2 years of experience.
