THEROLE IN A NUTSHELL
Supporting Pharmacy Leadership inareas of London, Ottawa, and Mississauga, and overseeing pharmacy management inareas of One Point, Toxins, Dispensary, and Biologic Pharmacy Operations.
  • Lead and manage multi-site pharmacy operations, directing a team that includes key pharmacy managers across three locations.
  • Build and foster a high-performing, collaborative work environment focused on continuous improvement and alignment with the organization's vision. Support team members' professional growth and well-being, fostering a culture of career advancement and employee engagement.
  • Develop and implement streamlined processes, with a strong emphasis on process documentation, mapping, optimization and comprehensive training.
  • Drive operational efficiencies, focusing on critical areas like cold chain compliance, inventory management, ordering, and Accounts Receivable.
  • Lead the design and implementation of a fully customized digital system to enhance efficiency, data analytics, and patient care.
  • Continuously monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), leveraging data to drive informed decision-making and accountability.
  • Ensure full compliance with Ontario College of Pharmacy regulations, payor requirements, and contractual obligations with pharmacy partners.
  • Proactively monitor changes in regulatory standards and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
  • Uphold the highest quality standards in pharmacy operations, patient safety, and service delivery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, nursing, and program teams to ensure optimal service delivery and patient outcomes
  • Build and manage strong relationships with external stakeholders, including pharmaceutical partners and Patient Support Programs (PSPs).
  • Serve as a key representative in negotiations and discussions with payors, regulatory bodies, and other partners.
  • Manage and oversee the operational budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
  • Develop and execute cost reduction strategies while optimizing resource allocation and maintaining high standards of service. Report regularly on budget performance and implement financial controls to ensure fiscal discipline.
  • Drive and support strategic initiatives at GS and NKS Pharmacy, aligning with the organization's long-term goals.
    Identify and execute new projects to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Actively contributes to organizational growth and expansion efforts through strategic planning and implementation.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 5-10 years' experience managing pharmacy operations (Specialty).
  • Licensed Pharmacist in Ontario.
