Posting Summary
The Nurse Supervisor will provide leadership and supervision to the nursing staff and clinic assistants within the Student Health Clinic at the University of Vermont. This role is critical in fostering a collaborative, innovative, and positive clinic culture, supporting both student health and staff development. The Nurse Supervisor will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and effective clinic operations, while promoting an inclusive environment for all students and staff. By working closely with other units within the Center for Health & Wellbeing, the Nurse Supervisor will support the holistic health and success of UVM students. This position requires a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and process improvement. The Nurse Supervisor will be committed to upholding the mission and values of the Center for Health and Wellbeing, the Division of Student Affairs, and the University of Vermont.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Family NP Certification and two to four years' experience, to include management/leadership experience in nursing, are required. NP license in Vermont or eligible is required. Current CPR certification is required. Experience in utilizing medical technology in working with medical records is required. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required. Experience working with young adult populations is required. Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusiveness is required.
Desirable Qualifications
Anticipated Pay Range
$105,000-$125,000

Special Conditions
A probationary period may be required, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Background Check required for this position
