JOB PURPOSE:
The IT Manager designs and executes all solutions and technological strategies according to the specific needs of the business functional areas and manages all the current organization's applications. The IT Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's information technology infrastructure, operations, and development. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, the IT Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the organization's systems are effectively deployed, maintained, and optimized to support business operations and strategic objectives. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and managerial acumen.

This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and managerial acumen.

- The total compensation for this role is $140k-$150k OTE. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Strategy development, collaboration and execution (50%)
- Infrastructure management, automation and process improvement (30%)
- People and vendor management and development (20%)
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, agility, and competitiveness.
- Provide strategic guidance on technology investments and roadmap development.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of systems and data. (Netsuite + Suite commerce)
- Champion automation initiatives to streamline workflows, increase productivity, and reduce manual effort.
- Establish a compliance process which ensures that software and systems follow the architecture guidelines of the company and the enterprise.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of internal and external IT professionals, including developers, administrators, and support staff.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize development projects and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Oversee application administrators responsible for system configuration, performance tuning, and user support.
- Work closely with Department Heads and Product Owners to integrate related applications and systems and account for the specific business requirements in all areas of the company.
REQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Ability to own strategic planning, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, anticipating roadblocks, resolving issues, and formulating effective communication on progress and results.
- Effectively manages change and shifting gears comfortably; highly effective in ambiguous environments and able to produce maximum results with little direction and guidance.
- Demonstrated organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proven track record in transforming, designing, and establishing automation, as well as new structures and processes to increase overall efficiency.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strategic relationships with vendors and business leaders.
- The ability to accurately scope, budget, manage, and measure success of projects.
- Possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.
- 'Roll up your sleeves' (hands on work style) and a team player attitude
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 7-10 years' experience in a senior IT leadership role with strong focus on customer centricity.
- Strong technical background with expertise in infrastructure, software development, and project management.
- Experience managing teams of diverse IT professionals and external vendors. Ability to inspire and empower cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence and drive continuous improvement with digital and technical teams (incl. virtually).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, etc.) are a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:
- Regularly required to sit, talk, use repetitive motion, type, and hear.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach overhead.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Oversee day to day people management of the IT department (approximately a team size of 6), which includes weekly 1:1s, goal setting, upskilling of employees, providing or finding mentorship for growth opportunities and overseeing performance management
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willing to travel between 5% to 10% of time.
