Responsibilities :

A well-established litigation and business law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with a specialization in Personal Injury Defense, particularly within the federal court system.
Handle a diverse caseload of personal injury defense matters in federal court.
Develop and implement litigation strategies, managing all aspects of case progression from analysis and motion practice to discovery and trial preparation.
Conduct comprehensive legal research on federal laws, regulations, and precedent to support case arguments.
Analyze and interpret statutes, rulings, and legal opinions to provide accurate and strategic legal advice.
Represent clients in federal court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and other appearances.
Prepare and file legal documents, pleadings, and motions required for court proceedings.
Engage in settlement negotiations when appropriate, striving for favourable outcomes while maintaining high ethical standards.
Work effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff to execute legal strategies and provide comprehensive client services.

Qualifications :

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in the Florida State Bar and admission to practice in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Minimum of 5 years of overall legal practice with a strong focus on litigation.
3-4 years of specific experience practicing in federal court, preferably in personal injury defense.
Demonstrated success in managing and litigating federal cases, including trials and hearings.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong litigation background, including extensive experience handling cases in federal court.
