Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Physician Office

Shift: One shift is 8:00 am-4:30 pm and the other is 9:00 am-5:30 pm, Monday-Friday

Must-Have: Cardiac experience preferred
Job Description:
- We are seeking registered nurses for phone triage, wound checks, and rooming support.
- Provide great customer service skills and physician ordering support.
- Insert IVs for diagnostic studies.
- Cross-train to cover the stress lab when stress nurse is unavailable.
- Maintain an orderly, efficient, and timely flow of patients.
- Greet patients and prepare them for physician examinations.
- Provide general nursing care to patients as required for office treatment.
- Screen patients for necessary information.
- Instruct patients in the collection of samples and tests.
- Arrange for patient testing and admissions.
- Check rooms daily to ensure necessary supplies are available.
- Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls.
- Instruct patients and family members regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintain and review patient records and other pertinent information.
- Post test and examination results.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Maintain current knowledge to assure a safe working environment and demonstrate practical application of all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
- Use universal precautions in any potential contact with patient body fluids or used patient supplies that may be contaminated.
- Project a positive image of the facility in all interactions and support effective team functioning.
- Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement.
