WHAT CAN RELIAS OFFER YOU?
The Manager of Regulatory and Compliance is accountable for collateral provided to clients/organizations tied to healthcare regulatory requirements while ensuring that all processes are closely aligned with the organization's strategic initiatives. The Manager is expected to propose and execute data-driven decisions related to regulatory requirements and the creation of client-facing collateral.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Risk Management and Regulatory Oversight
Helps determine how much risk the company assumes and creates customer/regulatory agency-facing policies
Analyzes the return on investment when researching new approvals to pursue and/or for maintaining current approvals
Interprets regulatory guidelines set forth by the Federal Government, National regulating bodies, and state regulating bodies.
Risk management over Regulatory Specialist/Analyst
Standardizes responses Regulatory team provides to learners and organizations
Accountable for the Regulatory team maintaining knowledge articles with accurate information
Collaborates with external agencies to troubleshoot and develop training to meet organizational survey visits, initial training requirements
Strategic Leadership and Communication
Responsible for communicating with executive leadership and developing interdepartmental strategic plans to deal with regulatory requirements and troubleshoot risk management and quality standards.
Delegates strategic initiatives to team members based on expertise, bandwidth
Maintains ownership of Regulatory Department responsibilities and initiatives
Participates in leadership opportunities to enhance professional development
Collaboration and Cross-Departmental Coordination
Collaborates with other Relias departments (Content, Products, Marketing, Sales, Professional Services)
Ensures alignment across teams to address regulatory requirements and enhance workflows.
Engaged and an active participant in regulatory training in Relias Webinars, interdepartmental training, and white papers that may be developed
Works with Marketplaces to maintain packages/bundles
Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
Critical thinking and ability to problem-solve independently
Identifies potential issues within the workflow and learner-facing system and proposes solutions independently to appropriate internal departments
YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years experience working and collaborating with accrediting/regulatory boards
5+ years of experience in the healthcare market working with clients and leadership from organizations
Microsoft Office or equivalent expertise
Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with all Relias departments
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to take constructive criticism and apply it towards professional development
Ability to remain calm and diplomatic
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects
Ability to provide constructive criticism to direct reports
Ability to develop and collaborate with direct reports to develop individual development plans
IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU HAVE:
Planned, implemented and evaluated continuing education programs for healthcare professionals
Participant on healthcare quality performance teams, quality assurance teams or risk management teams
Helped execute quality initiatives in an organization that provided direct and indirect client/patient care
