Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to join Krause Auto Group. This individual would work out of our corporate office in Alpharetta, GA. The Corporate Controller will work with the CFO and be responsible for helping oversee all financial and accounting operations across multiple dealership locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to controllers and office staff to ensure corporate policies and procedures are being followed.
Set up and maintain internal controls, manage cash flows, and optimize financial procedures
Analyze monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Coordinate the annual audit and physical inventory processes.
Ensure proper and timely reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
Collaborate with department heads to improve financial performance and cost control.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations
Design, establish, and maintain an effective organizational structure and staffing levels.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting
CPA certification preferred
Experience as an auto dealership controller or multi-store controller
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel
Strong understanding of automotive dealership accounting
CDK experience required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
