Litigation & Valuation Director

Cg Tax, Audit & Advisory is looking for an experienced and talented Litigation & Valuation Director to join our team. Candidates for this role will have experience completing the following job duties:

• Manage litigation and valuation cases (matrimonial, business, and commercial) from start to finish, with a primary focus on business valuation and litigation support.
• Attend in-person mediations/arbitrations.
• Take a lead role in managing relationships with clients, attorneys, and opposing experts.
• Prepare detailed cash flow analyses, asset valuations, industry research, as well as other related litigation and valuation reports for use in litigation proceedings and client reports.
• Conduct economic damages calculations and contribute to forensic investigations, when necessary.
• Ensure report analyses adequately support conclusions reached.
• Perform accurate computations of business valuation, economic assets and damages, forensic accounting, and other financial analyses related to client engagements and expert witness services.
• Develop, maintain, and support referral sources.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by the Partner Team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of business valuation, matrimonial/business/commercial litigation support, and forensic accounting experience.
• Strongly skilled in business valuation and litigation support reporting and analysis.
• Proven ability to complete a project from start to finish with little to no guidance.
• Proficient in compiling, analyzing, and completing reports efficiently and effectively.
• Audit experience a bonus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to react quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA, CFA, ABV, ASA, or other valuation credential(s) strongly preferred.
• Hybrid work model is available, but candidate must be willing to work in the office several days per week.
