Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: CVOR
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 8 (5x8 Hr)
Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience required. Previous experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
License: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice required.
Certifications: BLS - American Heart Association required.
Must-Have: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN). Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily and reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Job Description:
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Evaluate health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data.
- Perform health teaching and counseling.
- Provide therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being, directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation with, delegation to, supervision of, or teaching others.
- Execute delegated medical functions.
- Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment.
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
- Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Utilize resources as needed.
- Promote mission, vision, and values of the organization and abide by service behavior standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business needs.
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
