SALARY: $110,000 - $130,000

Position Overview:

The Associate Vice President (AVP) of Partnerships & Operations, Fundraising will work closely with the Vice President of Partnerships & Operations and the CEO to strengthen NCUIH's strategic initiatives. This role is pivotal in overseeing fundraising and development activities, building and managing partnerships, optimizing operations, assist the Vice President of Partnerships & Operations in overseeing the department, and ensuring efficient office management to support NCUIH's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fundraising and Development:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to diversify and increase revenue streams, including individual donations, corporate sponsorships, foundation grants, and government funding.
  • Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with existing and potential donors, ensuring effective stewardship and recognition.
  • Oversee the preparation of grant proposals and reports, ensuring compliance with all funding requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to create compelling fundraising materials and campaigns that effectively communicate NCUIH's mission and impact.

2. Partnerships Management:
  • Assist the Vice President in identifying and establishing strategic partnerships with government agencies, non-profit organizations, corporations, and other stakeholders to advance NCUIH's objectives.
  • Manage existing partnerships, ensuring mutual goals are met and relationships are strengthened.
  • Represent NCUIH at external meetings, conferences, and events to promote the organization's mission and expand its network.

3. Operations & Office Management Oversight:
  • Work with the Vice President to optimize internal processes, ensuring efficient and effective operations across the organization.
  • Assist in budget development and financial management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and donor requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity and accountability.
  • Oversee office management functions, including administrative operations, procurement, vendor relations, and facility management to ensure a smooth and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient office administration, including records management and technology infrastructure.

4. Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and mentor staff within the fundraising, development, and operations departments, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Provide professional development opportunities and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Support the other Vice Presidents in optimizing operations

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related role within the nonprofit sector, with a proven track record of securing significant funding.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience overseeing office operations, fundraising, and partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with donors, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Experience managing budgets, grants, and compliance in a nonprofit setting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strategic focus and organizational efficiency.
