Job Description
Job Title: X-Ray Technician
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour
Hours per Shift: 08:30 - 17:00
Experience: 2 years required
License: State license required
Certifications: ARRT-R and BLS required
Must-Have: BLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY. Level I and II trauma experience preferred.
Description:
Monday - Friday 08:30-17:00.
Weekend rotation required.
Shifts are subject to change based on operational needs of the facility.
The candidate must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the assigned primary work site.
Floating is required as travelers will be the first to float.
Travelers may have shifts scheduled in multiple units depending on the current staffing needs or different locations within the organization.
During the assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit to complete the contract.
The facility is a designated high-ranking hospital considered one of the leading hospitals, teaching institutions, and referral centers.
Flu Vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions only.
Compliance requirements include manager review and approval during the candidate review process.
Typically, orientation is held every two weeks with department-specific schedules.
Travelers should follow the start date and time listed in their welcome letter and department schedule.
Orientation typically lasts about one week.
Orientation is 20 hours, non-billable.
