Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in specific content area; Master's degree or higher preferred
- Preferred: Washington State Teaching credential (or ability to obtain one) in content area
- Experience supporting neurodiverse learners and implementing interventions
- Annual contract beginning in the Fall
The ideal candidate will have a commitment to:
- Possess ability to teach all academic support classes spanning grades 9-12
- Support students through consultant teaching services
- Coordinate with students, families, and teachers to support student success
- Collaborate in Professional Learning Communities and working toward consensus with team members
- Structure student learning to meet Common Core, State, National, or other standards
- Create common formative and summative assessments with department team members
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Strategize for enrichment/intervention to meet the needs of all students
- Utilize technology (interactive boards, one-to-one devices, google suite) to inform instruction
Compensation and Summary of Benefits:
- Salary Range: $68,796 - $134,483 Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
