Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in specific content area; Master's degree or higher preferred
  • Preferred: Washington State Teaching credential (or ability to obtain one) in content area
  • Experience supporting neurodiverse learners and implementing interventions
  • Annual contract beginning in the Fall

The ideal candidate will have a commitment to:
  • Possess ability to teach all academic support classes spanning grades 9-12
  • Support students through consultant teaching services
  • Coordinate with students, families, and teachers to support student success
  • Collaborate in Professional Learning Communities and working toward consensus with team members
  • Structure student learning to meet Common Core, State, National, or other standards
  • Create common formative and summative assessments with department team members
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Strategize for enrichment/intervention to meet the needs of all students
  • Utilize technology (interactive boards, one-to-one devices, google suite) to inform instruction

Compensation and Summary of Benefits:
  • Salary Range: $68,796 - $134,483 Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
