Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Specialty: Physical Therapy
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 8H Days 0800 - 1630 (Monday to Friday), rotating weekend AM shifts (1 weekend shift per month)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred; previous travel and outpatient experience a plus
License: State of WI license or application in place
Certifications: BLS
Must-Have: Completion of 8 hours of in-house orthopedic education prior to orthopedic patient treatment
Job Description:
- Treats an average of 8 outpatient and 5-12 inpatient clients per day
- Works primarily with orthopedic, geriatric, sports, Parkinson's, vestibular, pediatric, lymphedema, and wound care cases
- Covers both acute inpatient and hospital-based outpatient PT clinic areas
- Benefits from previous experience with EPIC but not required
- Participates in department-specific orientation, including a 4-hour EPIC class, 8 hours of Relias Education, and 1-2 days of clinic and hospital orientation
- Adheres to a scrub or casual professional dress code
- Collaborates with a team comprised of 4 Rehab Aides and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
- Engages with PT Manager/Supervisor and lead PT for guidance and support
- Involvement in weekend morning rotation scheduled every 7th weekend, if interested
- Recognizes that the department is generally closed on holidays
- Enjoys a supportive environment with a focus on professional growth and patient care excellence
