But we believe we are just getting started. We're seeking a Senior Privacy and Compliance engineer to join the App Store Data Engineering team. In this role you will help deliver privacy experience of App Store users and improve the store every day for both users and developers by generating insights from data in a privacy-friendly manner. We enable data-driven innovation by building solutions, services, and analytical workloads for a variety of internal collaborators and external partners. Description
As part of our team, you will support the Privacy Compliance and Engineering needs of App Store and work very closely with leadership and the larger Apple privacy & compliance org to uphold the highest standards of data privacy, visibility, and trust.
THE ROLE WILL ALSO ENTAIL:
- Transforming business objectives into privacy compliant data strategies
- Developing tailored strategies to increase data value while safeguarding & respecting users data rights
- Performing comprehensive privacy engineering reviews by evaluating existing and new technical designs, identifying privacy risks and compliance issues, recommending technical controls or improvements to ensure privacy-by-design principles.
- Crafting comprehensive privacy solutions, developing robust frameworks and strategies to ensure compliance with global data protection regulations.
- Select and implement privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) ensuring chosen technologies are aligned with Apple's privacy strategy.
- Evaluating emerging privacy technologies, frameworks, and regulatory requirements, including potential impact on our privacy strategy and recommend adjustments to maintain compliance and improve data protection.
- Improving overall privacy awareness and reinforce the importance of privacy by design
