Apple is looking for an outstanding Engineering Program Manager to join the Display team. In this exciting and highly visible role, you will get to create and track project schedules for display components and drive communication between project teams and with external vendors. You will get to work on cutting edge technologies for Apple devices and drive various EE aspects of display module including silicon development, architecture, design prototyping and integration, and execution.
Description
Display EE EPMs must be excellent and effective organizers and leaders driving internal cross-functional engagements and activities, along with managing external suppliers. A successful candidate will help set strategy, execute on schedule and be responsible for managing/communicating status and issues along the way. This position demands technical strengths in many areas, including optics, mechanics, electronics, manufacturing, and supply chain. This position requires an engineering background or experience to deal with fast paced technical issues and development. Major responsibilities: Define project plans and schedules, Drive project execution, Lead internal and external cross-functional teams in engineering and validation activities, Ensure tight inter-team coordination and communication, Strong presentation and communication skills, Understand and communicate technical/engineering issues, Identify and resolve conflicts, Recognize inter-dependencies and program issues quickly, efficiently, and effectively, Manage product development phases and engineering builds.
