The Los Angeles Clippers are seeking a strategic and innovative Director of Sales Innovation and New Ticketing Products to lead our ticket sales initiatives and drive creative product development at our new home, Intuit Dome. This is a new and exciting role with a focus on maximizing ticket sales revenue, enhancing customer experiences, and ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration between our marketing, sales, and creative teams. In this role you will collaborate with marketing, sales, and data analytics to ideate, creative and execute new and exciting ticketing features to grow our business and enhance our fan experience. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for sports, a knack for creativity, and a proven track record in sales management.

This is a full-time role based out of our new arena, Intuit Dome, in Inglewood California.

What You Will Do:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive and creative sales strategies to achieve and exceed ticket sales targets.
  • Product Innovation: Lead the creation of new and imaginative ticketing products and experiences based on market research, customer feedback, and creative brainstorming sessions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between marketing, sales, and creative teams to ensure unified and innovative strategies.
  • Customer Experience Optimization: Design and execute initiatives to enhance the overall ticket purchasing experience, incorporating unique and engaging elements.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights, and translate these into creative sales strategies.
  • Campaign Creation: Develop and oversee the execution of innovative sales campaigns that drive ticket sales and engage fans.
  • Creative Product Design: Collaborate with the creative team to design unique ticketing products and experiences that resonate with our audience.
  • Revenue Optimization: Implement strategies to maximize revenue through dynamic pricing, bundling, and other innovative sales techniques.

Your Background, Skills, and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field; MBA preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales management, with at least 3 years in a director-level role, preferably within the sports industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful and creative sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities, with ability to partner and manage projects cross functionally.
  • Advanced analytical skills to interpret complex sales data and market trends.
  • Experience in product development and innovation, with a creative mindset.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • A positive commitment to providing exceptional customer service to all LA Clippers customers.
  • Demonstrated dedication with the ability to lead projects from origin through execution.
  • Ability to learn, contribute, and flourish in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
  • Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with a hands-on approach towards business.


About Intuit Dome:

Opening in August 2024, Intuit Dome is the new home of the LA Clippers and will host hundreds of sporting events and concerts each year. Located in Inglewood, Calif., Intuit Dome is built different -- it will redefine fans' expectations for live experiences and change the music landscape in Los Angeles.

Set to host the 2026 NBA All-Star game, Intuit Dome is over 1 million square feet and features our team training center, business operations offices, five full-sized basketball courts, an 80,000 square foot outdoor plaza and a double-sided Halo Board composed of more than an acre of LED.

Compensation
  • The range for this position is $150,000 - $165,000 annual compensation with a variable commission. Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • The role is classified as full time exempt.
