Description:
Candidate should have experience in Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 bankruptcy cases and out-of-court restructurings; a strong candidate will have creditor-side and/or company-side experience. Involvement in, and familiarity with, bankruptcy court proceedings is a plus. Familiarity with, and an interest in, banking transactions (e.g. leveraged finance, private credit, LMTs and infrastructure finance) is also a plus. Candidate must be proactive and team-oriented. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. This is a terrific opportunity to join a busy and growing practice advising clients on complex domestic and cross-border matters.
Class of 2021-2023 preferred.
U.S. J.D. and admission to the New York State Bar required.
The base salary range offered for this role will be between $235,000 and $310,000 and represents the firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant experience, performance, qualifications, degrees and location, as well as the needs of the firm.
The total compensation package for this position may include overtime pay, discretionary bonuses and other benefits.
