Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Shift: 8-hour day shifts (07:00-15:30)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: 2+ years of experience, including at least 1 travel assignment in an endoscopy unit
License: Registered Nurse License
Certifications: Relevant certifications in endoscopy and conscious sedation procedures
Must-Have: Flexibility for shift start times and cases running late

Job Description:
- Provide care and support to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures, primarily colonoscopies and basic endoscopic procedures.
- Work 8-hour shifts with variable start times from 6:15 am to 8:00 am, depending on the case mix for the week.
- Demonstrate flexibility as some cases may require remaining until the procedure's completion if running late.
- Conduct conscious sedation in procedure rooms located on the main floor of the endo unit.
- Collaborate with anesthesia services for procedures requiring anesthesia conducted in the suite upstairs.
- Ensure patient safety and provide postoperative care as needed.
- Maintain effective communication with team members and participate in ongoing education and training related to endoscopy nursing.
