This is a multi-level posting. Candidates may be considered for any of the posted levels, depending on their level of experience and depth of expertise.

Working independently under minimal supervision, the systems and development analyst builds, administers, monitors, troubleshoots, and documents integrations involving Oracle SaaS applications or Oracle SOA Suite, external and internal systems. Utilizes existing or new technology for the automation of processes including deployments. Evaluates application functionality, monitoring and process to provide recommendations to management for continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

Provides technical support; problem determination and investigation; implementation of software patches and upgrades for commercial (vendor) applications, integrations, and middleware.

Develop and maintain continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools for deploying integrations and other artifacts to cloud and on-premise targets.

Perform on call duties, analyze, and triage integration, system, and application failures.

Write, test, debug, and deploy code or scripts to production environments, ensuring timely delivery of solutions and fixes.

Conduct research and diagnosis to develop or modify applications or integrations; work with vendors to review quality, adaptability, compatibility, and reliability of their products.

Provide customer support for software applications and integrations.

Work with business stakeholders, IT stakeholders and vendors to resolve problems with applications, integrations, and middleware to implement agreed upon recommendations for improvement, enhancement and/or break-fix.

Consult with application users, evaluate user requests for new or enhanced applications and associated integrations to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current systems and resources.

Research and analyze strategies, programs, and processes across and between all corporate functions.

Perform basic system analysis and design functions, monitors applications, handles critical issues, researches and analyzes data.

Performs any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in management information systems (MIS), computer science or related technical field or equivalent work experience. (Typically four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities applications, systems, and/or integrations.

Knowledge and understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux), network protocols, security, identity management, and various software applications.

Experience providing technical support involving communication and collaboration with variety of stakeholders on system or integration issues and problems.

Detailed oriented to be to review technical documentation, environments, operating systems and configurations to complete technical responsibilities and issues resolution.

Experience with and understanding of high-level software and system architectures, cloud concepts, source control and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) tools is a plus.

Experience with writing shell scripts on Linux is a plus.

Must possess a good working knowledge of Git source control.

Time management skills to work effectively and efficiently through workload and experience with prioritization.

Experience creating or maintaining technical documentation on configuration, issues resolution and processes.
