Azure Architect - Remote

Job Description:
As an Azure Architect, you will lead the modernization of IT infrastructure and data applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise cloud strategy and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cloud architecture solutions using Microsoft Azure
• Manage assignments and track progress against agreed timelines
• Act as a consultant to project teams and provide technical guidance
• Define and enforce enterprise-level standards in solution architecture
• Conduct business and technical requirements gathering
• Research and recommend cloud solutions for implementation
• Oversee testing and deployment of cloud-based systems
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions
• Ensure project compliance with relevant standards and procedures

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, including 5 years as a Software Development Lead
• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Expertise in Azure administration, development, and DevOps processes
• Experience in cloud migration, infrastructure management, and software engineering
• Proficiency in SQL, .NET, Python, and data architecture
• Experience with CI/CD toolsets, Git, and Azure DevOps
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Microsoft Azure certification (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Public sector experience

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $85.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
