Job Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Manager to be responsible for the oversight of the Controls Engineering, and Electrical Engineering departments, as well as acting as a liaison to the Electrical Assembly department. Responsibilities include ensuring quality, prioritizing projects, enhancing processes, leading the team, providing technical expertise, and collaborating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Oversight: Direct quality control for electrical and automation functions, ensuring alignment with production goals.
  • Project Execution: Manage project bids, documentation (BOMs, drawings), and timelines, while maintaining budget adherence.
  • Technical Leadership: Drive automation and control system design, programming, and implementation, providing expert guidance.
  • Compliance and Optimization: Enforce UL standards, promote continuous improvement, and maintain current technical knowledge.
  • Team Management and Development: Lead, mentor, and evaluate team performance, delegating tasks and resolving personnel issues.
  • Resource and Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with purchasing, manage vendor relationships, and leverage external resources for optimal project outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, related field, or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
  • Strong UL compliance knowledge, ability to pass UL508A MTR exam, proficiency in technical drawings and software (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and professional.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven team leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Skilled with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC and HMI programming.
  • ERP system experience (Epicor preferred).
  • Experience specifying components for filtration or similar systems.
