From creating and implementing systems software to analyzing data to improve existing ones, the DevOps Engineer increases productivity in the workplace. They understand the software development lifecycle and have a clear understanding of various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/ CD pipelines).
Come be a part of the development of the new Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW). Join the Lockheed Martin team and be a part of the company that has developed and flown more hypersonic vehicles than any other U.S. Company and has decades of hypersonic development and flight test experience from government contracts as well as internal investments in research and development projects.
The LRHW Software Team is seeking an experienced software engineer to support their DevSecOps infrastructure.
Perspective candidates will have a strong Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Development (CD) background coupled with Linux Operating System experience.
A Final Secret is required for this role.
Basic Qualifications
Fundamental knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps processes and tools
Demonstrated knowledge of continuous integration / continuous deployment methodologies
Demonstrated experience in Linux Operating Systems
Final Secret clearance required.
Desired skills
Integration of embedded software
Demonstrated experience in Shell scripting
Experience with containers and orchestration
Experience with virtualization such as VMWare.
Technical documentation creation and management; including documenting existing environment

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $70,500 - $135,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
