Facilities Engineer

Job Description:

• Will have the ability to manage small projects, train other maintenance staff and work independently at times.
• Use key tool failure metrics like MTBF and MTTR to analyze and improve periodic maintenance programs.
• Develop and improve current periodic maintenance documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of experience with a Master's degree in manufacturing or the aerospace and defense industry.
• Experience with mechanical design, statics, an machining requirements.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal tools supervision.
• The employee is occasionally required to must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams on projects of moderate complexity.
• Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), familiar with Business Case analysis, and have excellent engineering documentation skills and communication skills.
