Hilco Vision is searching for an experienced Senior Manager of FP&A. This is an exciting opportunity to establish the company's FP&A department and lead the company's global FP&A processes in the following areas such as management reporting, planning, forecasting, and overseeing performance improvement initiatives. The Senior Manager of FP&A reports to the VP of Finance and Accounting and partners closely with the Chief Financial Officer and other operating executives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field; accounting, finance, data analytics, Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of FP&A-focused experience partnering with senior leaders to drive successful outcomes with a focus on management reporting, planning and forecasting.
  • Experience w/ ERP/MRP systems, M3 experience preferred.
  • Power BI experience preferred.
  • Experience creating monthly or quarterly management reporting packages (MRPs) suitable for executive level and PE audiences.
  • Experience building detailed financial models that can forecast revenue, gross margin, contribution margin, and EBITDA in an organized and clear manner.
  • Experience at building working relationships across various departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment/industry a plus.
  • Global experience preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and Lead FP&A function. This key leadership role will establish the FP&A function for company by leveraging best practices in the following primary areas:
    • Management Reporting. Provide monthly management reports to executive leadership that effectively summarize the performance of the company against budget and forecast. Develop KPIs where necessary.
    • Planning and Forecasting. Lead the company's annual planning process and establish regular forecasting cadence.
    • Business Partnership. Develop working relationships with department leaders to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives
  • Oversee Performance Improvement Initiatives. Oversee profitability improvement initiatives by helping department leaders set appropriate goals and track progress against goals.
  • Provide Analytical and Strategic Support. Provide recommendations to senior leaders based on data-driven insights, scenario modeling, and business knowledge. Support other departments such as Sales and Operations with ad-hoc analysis requests.
  • This position will lead the company's global FP&A processes and as such will have dotted-line responsibility over other FP&A analysts in other geographies. The Senior Manager position will also develop the long-term vision of the FP&A organizational structure.
  • Mentor Analysts. Mentor and coach other analysts in other departments, fostering a culture of FP&A excellence.
  • Support Finance Department System and Process Improvements. Take an active role in the broader Finance team by assisting with implementation of new systems and adherence to new finance requirements.
  • Provide analytics for the organization for sales and operational results at various levels i.e. division, channel, product type, customer, product, facility and department. Complete monthly gross margin, absorption, efficiency, analysis with key insights for areas of improvement. Report on variances to budget and prior year, with commentary explaining significant swings. Analytical reviews and ad hoc analysis as needed.
