Position: Principal Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer
Location: Hybrid - 2 days a week minimum in office (Westlake Village, CA; Ottawa, Canada; Santa Clara, CA; Irvine, CA)

Responsibilities:
- Active circuit design and technical leadership
- Design cutting-edge transimpedance amplifiers in Silicon Germanium (SiGe) BiCMOS technology
- Develop transmission line structures and millimeter-wave structures for enhanced performance
- Design high-performance broadband analog circuits for optical front-end receivers
- Design various analog circuits, including linear regulators, AGC loop, current/voltage sensors, bandgaps, etc.
- Develop microarchitecture of major circuit blocks and guide the team of designers
- Collaborate with other functional groups for post-silicon validation, qualification, mass production transition, and customer support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 10-15 years of experience OR MSc EE OR PhD EE with 5+ years of experience in high-performance RF/Analog Receiver/TIA design
- Proven IC design experience, including chip tape-out and lab evaluation of receiver design
- Solid experience in using EDA CAD tools and performing Analog Custom Layout
- Deep understanding of fundamentals, including detailed transistor-level design and device physics
- Direct project experience in areas like AGC loop design, high-precision analog circuits, CTLE design is a plus
- Experience in overseeing and mentoring junior circuit designers
- Experience as a chip lead with success in silicon
- Ability to translate chip-level specifications into architecture
Must-Have:
- Strong educational background in high-performance RF/Analog Receiver/TIA design
- Significant experience in IC design
- Ability to correlate simulations to measurements
- Leadership and mentoring skills
- Successful experience in taking chips to mass production
