BAE Systems is currently seeking creative, innovative problem solvers to be part of a system security engineering focused group. In a modern approach to "Spy vs Spy," BAE Systems uses state-of-the-art technology, advanced mathematics, and physics in novel ways to protect our systems and provide our customers with capability that endures. Our engineers design solutions that achieve the optimum balance between product capability and defense-in-depth security. - Design security architectures based on requirements from your analysis of adversary threats and proposed countermeasures.
- Implement and test security countermeasures according to the guidance provided by the U.S. Government
- Work with Security State of the Art (S-SOTA) technologies.
- Provide our customers with sophisticated, defense-in-depth security solutions.

- Deriving, Evaluating, and Allocating System Requirements
- Documenting System Architectures
- Evaluating System Design Concepts with consideration for Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Performance, Constraints, and Manufacturing and Logistics Concerns
- Integrating Hardware and Software
- Validating and Verifying the Delivered Solution
- Planning, conducting, and documenting a trade study or analysis of alternatives
Preferred Skills and Education
We are very interested in candidates with any of the following experience:
- Cryptographic algorithm implementation
- Configuring security features of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) S-SOTA components
- Firmware development for COTS S-SOTA components such as Xilinx or Microsemi FPGAs
- Applying secure coding practices, securing operating systems, and virtualization
- Implementing and configuring security protocols
- Model-Based Systems Engineering using Cameo or MagicDraw
- Product design development and design analysis for manufacturability and maintainability
- Experience with RF and EW systems
