What You'll Do:
- Works collaboratively with department leadership and across teams to carry out comprehensive project and planning efforts related to the district's facility planning needs.
- Determines future facility needs through coordination with district educational administrators, local school personnel and the Facilities Management department.
- Defines and confirms project scopes and compiles and approves cost estimates for projects and initiatives.
- Contributes and assists in managing the development, assessment, and maintenance of facility needs data; generates and distributes facilities planning information; and assists in the management and maintenance of the Facility Condition Information database, the Archibus Space Management database and Tririga.
- Manages the assembly of related information of the district's facility construction needs, including major building element replacement needs and new technology infrastructure support.
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Planning, Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Licensed Architect or Engineer in the State of Colorado or the ability to become licensed within one year preferred.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible architectural or engineering experience and construction program and project management, involving programming, design, construction documentation, administrative, and technical responsibilities.
- Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
- Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
- Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
