Job Description
The Office of Postsecondary Financial Planning Bureau within the Michigan Department of Treasury is looking for a dynamic leader who has excellent leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, high ethical standards, and a positive attitude to join their team. This position is responsible for managing various operational and marketing activities, including supervision of employees for the Michigan Achieving a Better Life Experience (MiABLE) program. MiABLE is an Internal Revenue Code (IRC), Section 529A disability savings program, providing savings accounts for eligible individuals with qualified disability expenses. This position is responsible for analyzing MiABLE policies and procedures and making recommendations for revisions in policy and procedure. Managing the analysis of MiABLE account owner issues and problems to determine and implement solutions. Providing technical direction of digital marketing platforms including website and social media pages. Ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, rules, and regulations for the website and social media. Overseeing and participate in outreach activities and cultivate relationships with employers and corporate partners. Researching and recommending contract procurements to the MiABLE Executive Director and prepare Requests for Proposals (RFP). Conducting in-person and virtual presentations to increase awareness and promote MiABLE and provide program materials at events as necessary. Other duties as assigned.
