The Nurse Coordinator, Nursing Practice will provide leadership for the development, revision, and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and protocols. Coordinates timely review per standards.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

Support the Practice and Quality Expert Council of Clinical Shared Leadership in the ongoing work of developing, revising, and implementing clinical policies, procedures, and protocols. Actively collaborate with other members of the organization to ensure alignment of policies, procedures, and protocols with national benchmarks, and evidence-based practice.

Analyze feedback (issues, complaints, etc.,) and data from nursing outcomes and nursing satisfaction to identify policies, procedures, and protocols requiring enhancement. Collaborate with content experts to develop and implement plan(s) for improvement.

Support the Clinical Shared Leadership initiatives to enhance the visibility of nursing achievements through organization-wide programs and communications.

Collaborate with the Office of Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Actively supports a strategy for the pursuit of magnet designation.

May complete unit/department-specific duties as outlined in department documents. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Master's degree in a healthcare-related field.

Five (5) years of RN experience.

Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master of Science in Nursing degree or PhD in Nursing degree.

Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
