Job Description
Purpose of Position:
Under supervision of Co-Directors of Neonatology and Obstetrics, and designated Maternal Child Health nursing leadership provides assistance in the administration of activities and supervision of activities within the Regional Perinatal Center (RPC).
Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications
1. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Hospital Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health or a related discipline; and
2. Four (4) years of administrative experience and background at responsible management and administrative levels; or
3. An equivalent combination of training, educational background and experience in related fields and educational disciplines may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Job Description
Purpose of Position:
Under supervision of Co-Directors of Neonatology and Obstetrics, and designated Maternal Child Health nursing leadership provides assistance in the administration of activities and supervision of activities within the Regional Perinatal Center (RPC).
Responsibilities:
- Creates databases to track obstetrical and neonatal indicators from the RPC and NYCH+H 10 acute care facilities
- Oversees data entry for Vermont Oxford and DOH Collaboratives in conjunction with Nursing and Providers. Acts as Regional Coordinator for BHC and the ten affiliate hospitals on the State Perinatal Data System (SPDS). Provides education and support for affiliates to assure quality data submission
- Supervises Coordinating Manager to ensure quality data collection and data entry
- Schedules affiliate site visits, collects cases for reviews, produces agendas, documents discussions, provides evaluation forms
- Reviews all maternal and neonatal transfers. Coordinates with Transportation Center and facilities as needed.
- Collaborates with staff in the High-Risk OB Clinic to ensure that the patients are assessed for and scheduled for services not provided by Bellevue Hospital Center ie Fetal echocardiograms.
- Troubleshoots access issues with Maternal Fetal Medicine providers and clinic staff.
- Provides referring hospitals, physicians, and nurses with information regarding the outcome of patients transferred to the RPC.
- Provides lesson plans and guidance to educators in affiliate hospitals in order to provide state of the care and innovations across the Regional Perinatal Centers affiliates. Provides a schedule of all training and education schedules for RPC affiliates
- Coordinates the bi-yearly Perinatal Centers Conference (Spring and Fall)
