What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap for AI initiatives.
    • Define and document architectural principles, standards, and guidelines for AI/ML systems.
    • Create and maintain roadmaps for AI technology adoption and integration.
  • Lead the design and implementation of AI solutions.
    • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to define and design AI/ML systems.
    • Evaluate and select appropriate AI/ML technologies, tools, and platforms (e.g., cloud services, frameworks, libraries).
    • Ensure the alignment of AI solutions with business objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Define data architecture requirements for AI/ML initiatives.
    • Identify and assess data sources, data quality, and data integration needs.
    • Design and implement data pipelines and data lakes to support AI/ML workloads.
    • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate cloud infrastructure and platforms for AI/ML workloads.
    • Leverage cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI/ML model training, deployment, and inference.
    • Design and implement scalable and cost-effective cloud-based AI architectures.
  • Ensure the integration of AI solutions with existing IT systems and applications.
    • Develop and implement APIs and other integration mechanisms to enable seamless data flow and interoperability.
    • Ensure compatibility with existing enterprise systems and applications.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and industry best practices.
    • Conduct research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends.
    • Attend industry conferences and participate in professional development activities.
    • Stay informed about AI ethics, governance, and compliance regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful AI project delivery.
    • Work closely with data scientists, engineers, business analysts, and IT operations teams.
    • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Facilitate the resolution of technical challenges and roadblocks.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and technologies (e.g., machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies.
  • Strong data architecture and data modeling skills.
  • Experience with data integration and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with specific AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with data governance and data security best practices.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF Certified, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the hourly pay range is $90 to $115/HR depending on experience. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
