Traveling Superintendent

Position Overview
The Traveling Superintendent will oversee and manage commercial construction projects at various job sites across the region. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and labor teams
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, reporting any discrepancies
• Maintain communication with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
• Resolve any issues that arise during construction
• Prepare and submit progress reports to upper management

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and best practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred
