Job description
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Certifications include ITIL v3 Foundational Level certification and other technology specific certifications (e.g., Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL certifications)
- 3-7 years of experience as a database administrator with the following concepts / technologies (as applicable based on database type):
- Oracle Exadata
- File structures, design, retrieval, access methods, etc.
- Systems development lifecycle
- Experience working with databases that are clustered and attached to a SAN infrastructure
- Knowledge of networking concepts, object-oriented technology, data warehousing, and relational database engines (e.g., Oracle, SQL, DB2)
- Advanced proficiency in analytical, project planning, negotiating, interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
