Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for web-based applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing using tools like Selenium, PHPUnit, Cypress, and JMeter.
- Work closely with developers to identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts to validate database transactions and ensure data integrity.
- Conduct API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools to verify RESTful services.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD for automated testing.
- Monitor and analyze application performance, identifying potential bottlenecks in databases and backend services.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in web-based applications.
- Strong expertise in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
- Experience with Oracle databases, including writing SQL queries, PL/SQL scripts, and understanding schema design.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, PHPUnit, Cypress, JMeter).
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and SoapUI.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
- Experience with performance testing and identifying database bottlenecks is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical findings effectively.
