We are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while coordinating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical engineering projects from initial conception through to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and engineering teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation using tools such as P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Utilize Bluebeam and Procore for project documentation and communication.
- Oversee change orders and ensure proper documentation and approval processes are followed.
- Conduct regular project meetings to track progress and address any issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems installation and integration in construction projects.
- Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management within the construction or mechanical engineering sector.
- Proven experience with P6, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Viewpoint software.
- Familiarity with MEP systems and HVAC design.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of change order processes and cost management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage project teams effectively.
- Experience with construction project management software such as Procore.
- Knowledge of Trimble software and tools related to mechanical project management.
