You might not have heard of Renuity, but Renuity isn't a scrappy startup - we're already a powerhouse in the home services industry. Today we operate largely as a holding company for seven established brands, but we're in the midst of something big: unifying everything under the Renuity name and taking it to market as a national, consumer-facing brand.
That's where you come in.
Our newly formed Brand team is looking for a second-in-command. A brand builder who's just as ambitious as we are - someone who knows what it takes to build a household name and can hit the ground running to define Renuity's identity. Someone who sees brand as the operating system of a business. Someone who brings bold, out-of-the-box ideas to the table but also sweats the small stuff. Someone who can go beyond theory and actually make things happen - fast.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Brand Strategy & Development, the Director of Brand Strategy will play a pivotal role in the development of the Renuity brand and growth of our business.

You've built brand positionings, value propositions, sub-brand strategies, brand architectures, naming conventions, visual identities, taglines, brand voice playbooks, and more.
You've got world-class brand expertise - national and global brands have looked to you to craft brand strategies that solve tough business challenges.
You've supported (or even led) brand migrations during mergers, acquisitions, or other brand portfolio-defining events.
You're equal parts strategic and creative - your brain fires on insights, but you also know how to shape creative execution.
You lead by influence, not by control - people want to follow your vision.
You're ready to roll up your sleeves and create something that lasts.

What you'll do:
Co-author Renuity's brand strategy - the roadmap for positioning, architecture, nomenclature, marketing & communications, customer experience, employer brand, and more.
Identify brand opportunities across the business and lead projects to address them.
Partner with teams across Marketing, Sales, Ops, HR, Legal, and Finance to execute brand initiatives that actually move the needle.
Lead research efforts to decode customer behavior, market trends, and competitive insights to craft and refine our identity, messaging, customer experience, and strategy.
Build the tools, playbooks, and guidelines that bring the brand to life - and train the company to use them.
Measure and optimize - because a great brand is built on impact, not just ideas.
Build, develop, and inspire the Brand team as we continue to grow.
What you'll Bring:
8+ years working in brand strategy roles (ideally with a mixture of agency/consulting and in-house)
A track record of shaping brands - especially those that have redefined or reshaped their industries.
Experience working on brand architectures that answered major enterprise strategy questions and shifted the corporate strategy of a business
Experience working with executives and senior leadership to influence big brand and business decisions. You're a master at finding the right balance of educating stakeholders and driving the opportunity forward.
A balance of big-picture vision and tactical execution - you know how to create a forward-thinking strategy, but you also know how to make it real.
Experience conducting primary research with stakeholders and consumers - you've scoped and conducted research across a multitude of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies (exposure to consumer segmentation is a plus but not essential). We'll expect you to be comfortable conducting research independently (IDIs, shopalongs, focus groups, etc.) and knowledgeable enough about consumer insights to be...dangerous.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - you don't just create smart strategies, you make them impossible to ignore. You know how to cut through the noise, rally teams, and turn complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives and action.
Unstoppable intellectual curiosity, sharp strategic thinking, and analytical prowess - you ask the right questions: why, so what, what if, and what's next.
Experience leading and rallying teams, whether they report to you or not (direct people leadership is a plus but not essential)
