About Us

Overview

The Regional Director of Sales leads and directs the overall sales functions of an assigned portfolio to promote the Brightview brand and support communities in reaching occupancy and revenue objectives. This NEW role has been created to support the growth and development of our portfolio and will support 5 communities in Baltimore County.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently and genuinely demonstrate the STARS principles of Service, Teamwork, Action, Reputation and Success in all activities and interactions.
  • Collaborate with Regional Director of Operations, Executive Directors and Community Sales Directors to develop and implement strategic sales plans and budgets to achieve performance objectives.
  • Coach, teach and train community sales teams on effective sales and lead generation techniques, timely prospect follow up and documentation via our lead management system, accelerating the sales process, and removing obstacles and barriers to a sale.
  • Provide targeted sales intervention, support and recommendations to new and focus communities within assigned portfolio.
  • Analyze metrics and reporting tools to monitor occupancy, pipeline management, lead quality, outreach efforts, and other indicators of sales effectiveness; adjust strategies as appropriate.
  • Lead and coordinate the creation of outreach campaigns in a variety of mediums to market Brightview communities and generate leads. Track and evaluate the success of these campaigns and initiatives; adjust programs accordingly to enhance effectiveness.
  • Advise community management and sales teams regarding opportunities to enhance the appearance, curb appeal, and general marketability of their communities.
  • Educate and coach community associates in their responsibilities for supporting the sales process.
  • Work closely with home office and regional management to provide leadership support to community management teams.
  • Serve as an interim Community Sales Director as needed to cover staffing needs and/or provide additional resources for occupancy challenges.
  • Participate in due diligence, analysis, and consideration of strategic initiatives, acquisitions and new development.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • While there are no direct reports in this position, there is dotted line oversight of Community Relations Directors in assigned portfolio.
  • While acting a supervisory capacity, carries our supervisory responsibilities in accordance with BVSL policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Salary Range

$135,000-$150,000/year

Compensation Disclosure

The salary range mentioned above reflects the potential pay for this role and does not include bonuses or additional incentives (if applicable), nor does it include the value of our benefit program. Offers will consider factors like experience, qualifications, location, community size (if relevant), certifications/training, etc. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field and five - eight years progressive experience in sales and marketing with at least three years in sales management, preferably in the senior living or hospitality industries. Multi-site management and experience in CCRC marketing, including start-up and/or expansion preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Excellent written communication skills including proper grammar and professional writing in a variety of formats and mediums.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals and groups; ability to speak persuasively and present information both one-on-one and in front of audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to make and support collaborative decisions as well as make decisions independently.
  • Ability to work with strict deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet based applications.
  • Strong orientation to older adults.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy.
