California civil litigation firm specializing in fraud litigation seeks a motivated and skilled associate attorney to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct all aspects of litigation for assigned cases, including pre-trial motions, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and appellate work.
• Draft and argue legal motions and briefs.
• Perform legal research and analysis, identifying relevant case law and statutes.
• Collaborate effectively with senior attorneys, paralegals, and clients.
• Manage a diverse caseload, meeting deadlines and adhering to ethical standards.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in relevant jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of experience in civil litigation, preferably with trial experience.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in legal research databases and case management software.
