Evapco, Inc., an employee-owned company, is currently seeking an Aftermarket Parts Manager to lead its Aftermarket Parts department at our Madera, CA manufacturing site

Purpose of the Position

The Aftermarket Parts Manager will oversee a high-performing aftermarket parts team delivering products and service information to Evapco representatives and customers for both aftermarket Evapco product support and non-Evapco equipment parts - to include parts pricing, freight quotes, custom engineering solutions, training, and warranty claim support. Track sales office performance, parts sales and delivery performance, and warranty claims to optimize future growth, improve customer service, resolve supplier defects, and improve quality. Develop outstanding service relationships with Western U.S. sales representative's aftermarket part sales; and coordinate activities regularly with Evapco Global Manager Replacement Market Services.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee personnel team processing aftermarket part orders to meet budgeted sales targets
  • Perform detailed financial tracking of individual sales office performance, part sales, and warranty claims.
  • Assist with tracking and controlling office part warranty expense account within budget.
  • Train and support sales representatives and service teams on aftermarket products and solutions.
  • Provide technical support and product information to internal and external customers.
  • Ethically develop and maintain strong relationships with representatives and customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, to include travel for on-site visits, webinars, and virtual meetings.
  • Identify and resolve aftermarket product and service issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the corporate Mr. GoodTower Group to provide custom design solutions for Evapco and non-Evapco aftermarket parts needs.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitive offers to enhance aftermarket business strategies.
  • Assist with factory headquarters Aftermarket Parts sales development projects and Mr. Goodtower training
  • Positively interact with Production, Materials, and Quality Department managers for part order fabrication, shipping, packaging, warranty claims and returns.
  • Staff, train, equip, and lead a customer focused, Aftermarket Parts Customer Associates team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews for assigned Customer Associates team.
  • Proficiency in managing engaging social media communications (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) - preferred.
  • May perform other duties when assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
  • Required - Associate's degree with minimum of 10 years of demonstrated industry related skills, OR B.S. undergraduate degree in a related business or technical field.
  • Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience building or maintaining Evapco equipment.
  • Required: Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and aftermarket products.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal skills relating to customer needs and diffusing problems.
  • Required: Strong understanding and familiarity with HVAC and industrial refrigeration industry terminology, understanding of evaporative, adiabatic, and dry Heat Transfer Equipment.
  • Required: Excellent computer knowledge and use of Microsoft office products (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher) to write reports, develop/use spreadsheets, generate graphs, produce multi-media training presentations and materials.
  • Required: Proficiency reading and understanding industrial print drawings.
  • Required: Strong communication skills - interpersonal, able to train in group settings, communicate with distributed rep sales offices and factory headquarters - written, oral, video.
  • Previous leadership/management experience - preferred
  • Customer Service experience - preferred
  • Industrial sales experience - preferred.
  • Knowledge and use of AutoCAD and Solid Edge - preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) - preferred

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Office setting
  • Extensive use of telephone, laptop/desktop, E-mail, MS Teams daily
  • Developing spreadsheets/graphs, using database products, writing reports
  • Generating photos, videos, multimedia presentations, sales brochures, training products.
  • Minimum 25% travel to job sites and/or sales representative's office
  • At times, industrial setting (i.e. factory, rooftop, outdoor)
  • At times, temperature extremes from below 0 F. to above 100 F
  • At times, requires excellent agility (i.e. bending, squatting, twisting, and lifting)
  • Normal work week Monday through Friday, some Saturday and Sunday work
