We are an industry leader in heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) with both domestic and international customers.
The Parts Product Engineer role is to provide technical knowledge and project managerial skills that directly support and execute the initiatives of the HRSG Services' parts business. The Parts Product Engineer is responsible for issuing parts proposals and managing customer orders, and must be a self-starter with excellent customer service skills. This role involves acting as the primary customer service representative, frequently handling calls from customers seeking support for replacement or spare parts for Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) and other heat transfer equipment designed and supplied by Vogt Power.

The base pay range for this Parts Product role is $75,000 - $95,000 annually.

The Parts Product Engineer is responsible for issuing parts proposals and managing customer orders, and must be a self-starter with excellent customer service skills. This role involves acting as the primary customer service representative, frequently handling calls from customers seeking support for replacement or spare parts for Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) and other heat transfer equipment designed and supplied by Vogt Power.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Understands the HRSG and associated balance of plant equipment components and functions.
- Reviews customer technical specifications and commercial terms and conditions to determine level of support from other departments to develop proposal.
- Has a keen ability to understand drawings and come up with repair recommendations or modifications. Understand when others key individuals need to be consulted and engaging those individuals as needed.
- Coordinates with vendors to get appropriate pricing and lead time for the parts.
- Develops proposal documents, which may include reviews, evaluation and coordination efforts, creation of requests for quotation, and commercial items.
- Oversees and manages a high volume of small-scale projects from initial conception through to customer invoicing.
- Updates the Parts tracking tool to effectively communicate status of parts orders to the Group Leader and peers.
- Creates and maintains database for Spares pricing.

- Written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Organized and able to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond effectively.
- Adherence to procedures and attention to detail
- Analytical and business skills.
- Possess the ability to read and interpret drawings, prints and specifications.
- Fluency in Microsoft WORD, POWERPOINT, EXCEL, ACCESS, and PROJECT.
- Must have a valid passport and be able to travel when required, up to 5%
- Establishes and maintains management controls, including: budgets; schedules; contract files; communication and reporting systems; project documentation; and continuous improvement feedback procedures.
- An engineering degree is preferred, but relevant work experience will also be considered.
