Job Summary
This position will be a part of the Housing & Homeless Services (HHS) Division of the Y Social Impact Center, the social services division of the Y of Greater Seattle, and will report directly to the Executive Director of Housing & Homeless Services. This position will be responsible for ensuring overall program and staff compliance, grant funding requirements are met, and a solid and stable care strategy staff understand and follow for the Y Social Impact Center. This position will support the development of staff and program directors to better understand their role and responsibilities from a compliance lens for the program(s) and contract(s) they oversee. This position will work closely with Y Social Impact Center program division senior leaders to support the success of their assigned programs, which will include training staff, leading internal and external audits, monitoring active contracts and contract renewals, developing trainings and processes that will result in outstanding compliance for Y Social Impact Center. This position will focus on overall growth and fidelity of programs and staff.
This position is with the Y Social Impact Center, the social services division of the YMCA of Greater Seattle (YGS), serving around 5,000 youth, young adults, and families every year in communities across King County, Pierce County, and various counties across WA. Through our programs we aim to strengthen young people's ability to develop to their fullest potential through four strategies: reducing risk factors; navigating systems towards successful life transition; establishing stability, safety and wellness in times of crisis; and building competencies and social capital. The Social Impact Center's programs include homelessness prevention, housing, behavioral health, crisis response, foster care licensing, violence prevention, and employment. Since many of the young people we serve have been involved in the foster care, criminal justice, behavioral health, and/or homelessness systems, we truly value relatable lived experience of our staff and those applying for our positions as an asset.

Hiring Range: $105,000 - $115,000/year

Position Type and Expected Hours
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

This is a full-time position that requires this leader to be on site, in person, at various housing site locations across King County, and potentially work evenings and weekends as needed.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Hiring Range: $105,000 - $115,000/year
Responsibilities
- Create and implement a strategy around continuity of care including paperwork, program outcomes, policies and procedures, and compliance measurements for HHS that aligns with all YSIC divisions resulting in streamlined workflows.
- Provide leadership and support to assigned division and program leads on all contract monitoring audits/visits and needs, monthly, mid-year, and annually reporting, updating contracts, and ensuring all contracts are active and in good standing with funders.
- Supervise Housing Directors who oversee Permanent Housing, Arcadia Services, and Transitional Housing programs.
- Meet regularly with Division Directors to ensure ongoing data review, contract compliance, programmatic oversight, and audit readiness.
- Train and coach staff to understand the importance of following compliance expectations and support staff in problem-solving and addressing data and evaluation gaps or issues.
- Create in consultation with other contributing YGS and YSIC departments a continuation of care model and metric for evaluating program efficacy and performance.
- Consult regularly with YGS Risk Management to ensure up-to-date policies and procedures.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed and that all programs and staff are following YMCA, YSIC, contract expectations and all relevant regulations and other applicable standards.
- Work alongside HHS Executive Director and other key stakeholders to oversee implementation of YSIC strategic plan in the HHS Division also communicating updates when necessary.
- Provides or arranges technical assistance for programs when needed.
- Co-facilitate HHS Leadership meetings alongside other Housing Leaders.
- Collaborates with Learning & Impact team on training needed for the team, evaluation of programs and implementing recommendations, collecting, and understanding data analysis.
- Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise assigned staff and volunteers in assigned areas. Hiring responsibilities may include hiring direct reports or other program staff.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant social services program area or equivalent education/experience. Other applicable education, training, and experience, which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position will be considered.
- 4+ years of experience working with high risk, systems involved (i.e. homeless, justice, behavioral health, foster care) youth and/or young adults or equivalent experience providing community-based services to diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.).
- 3+ years of leadership and program management experience, which includes supervision of staff, oversight and management of teams, program development, contract management, budget management, leadership development training and/or facilitation.
- Experience and knowledge with youth behavior management and child abuse prevention.
- Intermediate computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office suite, and experience with electronic health record databases as well as HMIS.
- Ability to visit sites and community organizations.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master's degree in social work, social services, or a closely related field from an accredited school.
- Ability to speak any language in addition to English.
- Life experience with poverty, child welfare, homelessness, behavioral health, or youth violence and a desire to use that experience to improve the lives of others.
