Position Summary
Need an MS SQL Developer with 8 to 10 Years of development experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement MS SQL Processes including Creation of views, stored procedures, functions and having good understanding of join concepts
- Work from technical specifications to independently develop, modify and maintain MS SQL components.
- Optimize queries using Statistics, Query Optimizer, Execution plan
- Build and maintain SQL scripts ,indexes and complex queries for data analysis and extraction
- Actively involved in design/code reviews, architecture discussions and infrastructure reviews.
- Plan, coordinate and facilitate meetings with the appropriate subject matter experts and stakeholders to define requirements.
- Work with technology partners to ensure understanding of the business requirements.
- Coordinate communications with internal and external teams.
- Provide issue resolution and support as required.
- Manage User Acceptance Testing and sign-off.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (or a related field) or relevant work experience
- Minimum of 8+ MS SQL Development experience
- Experience working with a software development team, with a strong understanding of the project lifecycle
- Excellent communication (oral, written, presentation), interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team; adaptable to ambiguity and change
- Strong team player - collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
- Must be willing to adjust working hours to accommodate meetings/discovery sessions for International divisions
