SALARY RANGE: 61,568.00 - 98,737.60YEARLY
General Summary:
The IT Trainer provides high quality adult education for Bayhealth applications to a wide variety of learners. The position is integral to staff on-boarding and development. The IT Trainer is required to collaborate with operations in order to develop curriculum that meets the workflow requirements of the various departments. An essential part of the IT Trainer role is to provide hands on education to enhance the learners understanding of applicable application systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Apply advanced knowledge of information technology and adult education methodologies while participating in the execution of training curriculum and technologies.a. IT Trainer will be responsible for delivering curriculum that requires integration across several different workflows.b. Accountable for holistic and area cross-training that will be required to implement solutions.
2. Participates in workflow analysis and redesign utilizing industry best practices. a. Participate in multidisciplinary and focused workgroups that address opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.b. Creating and maintaining training materials, including curriculum, workflows, and tip sheets.
3. Perform end-user training:a. Demonstrates high-quality classroom management.b. Applies best practices for a wide variety of adult learning. c. Shadowing and hands on education in departmental areas
4. Demonstrates accountability and collaboration as a team member by working successfully with internal and external clients. a. Presents ideas and instructions clearly, verbally and in writing using appropriate presentation tools as needed. b. Practices reflective listening skills c. Participates in the delivery of student and resident programs.
5. Adheres to IT guidelines and procedure relevant to job responsibilities
6. All other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilities

Required Education, Credential(s) and Experience:
- Education: Associate Degree or above.
- Credential(s): Certification attributable to the application being supported within 6months of hire, if not already held.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year (12mos) experience in an Adult Education, Training or Development role. This experience must be working with adult learners.
Preferred Education, Credential(s) and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor Degree
- Credential(s): Certification related to the position, if applicable.
Relevant clinical licensure such as RN, PharmD.
- Experience: 4 or more years of experience in an Adult Education, Training or Development role, ideally in a healthcare setting.
